The TheAmericanRevolution.org website was founded by Joseph Logan. The website is organized into the following main sections: American Revolution Battles, Important People, Historical Viewpoints, Historical Events, Historic Documents, Timeline of the American Revolution, Recommended Readings on the American Revolution, Message Board, and Chat. There are also sections for American Revolution Militia, Pre-Revolution, Post-Revolution, Listen to American Revolution Battlefield Marches, and Shop Online for American Revolution War Items.

 

For each of the 23 American Revolution battles, the website gives a chart showing the size of the force, and the numbers killed, wounded and captured. There is also an illustrated article for each battle, with recommendations for further reading.

 

The Important People section contains illustrated biographical articles on 21 key figures in the American Revolution. They include John Adams, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and James Monroe.
