Spelman Rare Books of 70 Micklegate, York YO1 6LF, England. The business, which
was established in 1948, is operated by Peter Miller and Tony Fothergill. Its
site has been used as a bookshop since the beginning of the twentieth century.
The two lower floors contain the stock of out of print books, high quality
remaindered books, and a gallery area showing English water colours. There are
two rare book rooms, and a bookbinding workshop at the top of the building.
