Frasers Autographs, based at 399 Strand, London WC2R 0LX, is a division of the Stanley Gibbons group. It has been dealing in autgraphed material, including letters and autographed photographs, since 1978. It h as over 60,000 items in stock at its gallery at 399 Strand, a selection of which are listed for online sale through the Frasers Autographs website.
The autographs for sale span five centuries from Queen Elizabeth I to Liz Hurley, and range in price from £5 to £50,000. Items for sale also inclued personal and film-worn clothing, including items such as Al Capone's silk scarf, and Marilyn Monroe's sequinned bathing costume.
The autographs for sale are organised into the following main categories: Film TV & Theatre Autographs, Military Autographs, Models & Glamour Autographs, Politics Autographs, Space & Aviation Autographs, Music Autographs, Art Autographs, Royalty & Aristocracy Autographs, Authors Autographs, Sport Autographs, and Others (including the late newspaper tycoon Robert Maxwell).
To give an indication of the price range, autographs from British politicians currently command the following prices: Barbara Castle £30, Tony Blair £125, Benjamin Disraeli £395, and Winston Churchill £2,750.
