The Bonhams website has detailed online catalogues for each of its sales. These include high resolution images of the paintings for sale, which may be zoomed into and panned using a flash version.

Buyers may make bids by telephone. They can also make absentee online bids. To do this, the buyer goes to the online catalogue, selects a lot, selects 'bid/track', enters user name and password, and leaves a bid. The auction is not live online, and the buyer can only leave a commission bid for Bonhams to bid on their behalf.
