Confectioners. The building was meticulously restored in 1989, exposing the
original marble columns with brass collars, the marble lock lintels, and wrought
iron pillars. It is now registered as a protected site under Turkey's heritage
and conservation laws.
Haci Bekir now makes its Turkish Delight in modern production facilities, certified to ISO 9001-2000 and HACCP 2002 standards, and exports its output all over the world.
