Allrecipes.com website is based in Seattle,
Washington, USA. It was founded in 1997, and is owned by the Readers Digest
Association. Readers Digest Association publishes several cooking magazines,
including Taste of Home, Light & Tasty, Cooking for 2, and Every Day with Rachel
Ray.
The Allrecipes.com website is organized in four main sections: Recipes, Menus,
Tips & Advice, Community, and Shop. The main recipe section is organized as
recipe collections, including: Appetizers & Snacks, Chicken Recipes, Cookies,
Desserts, Dinner in an Instant, Healthy Living, Italian, Mexican, and Quick &
Easy. Chicken Recipes, for example, are then organized by type (Appetizers,
