British Dam Society (BDS) is an
Associated Society of the Institution of Civil Engineers, based in London,
England. Its aim is to educate the civil engineering profession and the general
public on the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of dams. It also
addresses the social and environmental issues arising from dams.
