The Gershwin.com website is published by Gershwin Enterprises, the organization which holds the copyright to the work of composer George Gershwin and lyricist Ira Gershwin. The brothers George and Ira Gershwin were born in 1898 and 1896 in New York City. Their first hit Broadway musical, Lady be Good, premiered in 1924. Their most famous songs include: Embraceable You, Fascinating Rhythm, I Got Plenty of Nuthin, Love Walked In, Rhapsody in Blue, Someone to Watch Over Me, and Summertime.

 

The Gershwin.com website is organized into the following main sections: Gershwin History, Gershwin Anthology, Gershwin Jukebox, Events, and References.
