The Henry Moore Foundation is a charity, set up and generously endowed by Henry Moore in 1997. Its objectives are to advance the education of the public by the promotion of their appreciated of the fine arts and in particular the works of Henry Moore. Henry Moore, who lived from 1898 to 1986, was one of the most prominent sculptors of his time.
The Henry Moore Foundation website is a comprehensive resource about the life and work of Henry Moore. It also provides news of and guides to the two exhibition and research centres supported by the Foundation: the Henry Moore centre at Perry Green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, England; and the Henry Moore Institute at Leeds.
