The Insects.org website is edited by insect enthusiast Dexter Sear and is published by web design company I/O Vision, of Boise, Idaho, USA. The website contains a wealth of scientific, cultural, and educational information about insects. It is organized into four main sections: Entophiles, Cedigest, Class:insecta, and Entolinks which is an annotated directory of insect links.

The Entophiles section contains macrophotography of insects, with descriptions. There are more than 100 illustrated articles, grouped into the following categories: Flies, Lacewings & Antilons, True Bugs, Mantids, Walking Sticks, Mayflies, Butterflies & Moths, Beetles, Cicada Hoppers & Aphids, Cockroaches, Grasshoppeprs & Crickets, and Dragonflies & Damselflies.
