ABOUT THE ACADEMY OF MODEL AERONAUTICS

 

The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), the world's largest sport aviation organization, has more than 170,000 members. It is a non-profit organization whose aim is to promote development of model aviation as a recognised sport and as a leisure activity.



AMA is the official national body for model aviation in the USA, and sponsors more than 1000 model aviation competitions around the USA each year.
