ABOUT 'CHEMISTRY FOR BIOLOGISTS'

 

The Chemistry for Biologists website is published by the Royal Society of Chemistry, based in London, England. It is aimed at students of age 16 plus taking Biology or related subjects. It is also intended to be of use to first year university students.

 

The website contains a substantial section on photosynthesis. This covers topics including: Leaves & Leaf Structure, Chloroplast & Photosynthetic Membranes, Stages of Photosynthesis, Chemiosmosis and ATP Synthesis, Cyclis Phosphorylation, and Factors Affecting the Rate of Photosynthesis.
