ABOUT 'EXPLORE THE TAJ MAHAL'
The Explore the Taj Mahal website is produced in English, French, Hindi and Japanese by the Armchair Travel Co, of London. The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum, in Agra, India, which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Construction started in 1632, and was finished in 1648.
The main feature of the Explore the Taj Mahal website is a set of nineteen 360 degree panoramic views, which can be panned horizontally and vertically using the cursor. They can also be zoomed in and out. There is a plan of the Taj Mahal and its grounds, with the viewpoints marked. Clicking on a viewpoint leads to the 360 degree panorama.
